Controls Engineer

Hello Chief Delphi,

Please let me know if it is a faux pas putting this on this forum but having been a mentor on FRC team 1922, OzRam, for 6 years I know how helpful the people here can be.

I am looking for companies in the New Hampshire area that design equipment, either for sale or for themselves. I am a Controls Engineer who is looking for new opportunities (laid off due to company drastically slowing down, from 250 employees to less that 25 when it was my turn). Here is my background:

I was recently laid off from my job at McClellan Automation where I have been a controls engineer for many years. I am contacting you because of your knowledge of the NH area. I am looking for any companies that design equipment either for sale or for themselves, even if they are not actively looking for a controls engineer at this point. McClellan was not looking when I was hired there. Here is my background:

I have been in the custom automation business for 30 years, 15 of that as an electrical controls engineer. I am experienced in all phases of the process from initial concept and customer discussions to designing the circuit, specifying hardware, panel and enclosure layout, documenting including schematics and assembly drawings, programing PLC and HMIs, test and debug and acceptance testing. I have experience in motion control including VFDs, steppers and servos, temperature control, industrial robots, and much more. Since I have been dealing with custom equipment so long I am used to having to learn how to wire, configure and make new technology do what I need it to do.

Please let me know if you think of any companies that could use me. Feel free to respond here or send a private message.

Thanks,
Kevin

Thanks,
Kevin
