Wiring LEDs and Arduino microcontroller

I have an Arduino Yun and I was going to buy this LED strip (1 meter of it). Would I be able to power the Arduino and the LED strip from the Voltage Regulator Module? What wires would I use to wire the power to the Arduino as it uses those odd jumper cable slots?
