UF Kick-Off

Hello everyone. I am happy to announce that there will be a kick-off event held at the University of Florida, located in Gainesville Florida. The location will be ideal for some Northern Florida FRC teams. We already have 3 teams in the area, and we have room to grow.

While the exact schedule is still being worked on, we are planning to have a tours of some of our robotics labs and machine shops and an Engineering Student group expo. This allows any visiting students to catch a glimpse of engineering life at the university level. All this will be held before the broadcast.

If you would consider coming out to this event, please let us know here, or at ufkickoff@gmail.com. We are open to suggestions events or activities to be held after the broadcast, so let us know if there is anything you think could benefit your team.

Also, if you are in the area, feel free to volunteer through VIMS. We'd appreciate you letting any of your alumni in the area know as well.

Hi, this is Danimal! I just wanted to introduce myself. I'll be helping Ralph with the coordination of this event. We're excited to bring an official Kick-Off to Northern Florida. I look forward to seeing some of you in January.
