Today's blog comes from Kari Karwedsky, Senior Program Manager of Global K12 Academic Programs, PTC.

Hello FIRST Teams!

We'd like to announce the start of Robotalk for the 2015/2016 FIRST season! Robotalk is a series of weekly webinars with PTC Experts who lead attendees through discussions on both technical topics, like CAD and IoT (Internet of Things), and non-technical FIRST topics, like fundraising and community outreach. This year, the weekly webinar will again be hosted by David Price, the voice of FTC! David will be joined by all of your favorite PTC Experts including Jordan Cox, Scott Morris and Mark Cheli, along with a few new PTC experts, several FIRST teams and mentors.

We hope that many of you will join us for these lively webinars which will be held Wednesday evenings, from September 23rd - November 18th from 7 PM to 8 PM Eastern.

Some of the topics that are planned for each week are the following:

1: September 23, 2015 - Product Development and PTC Creo

2: September 30, 2015 - Brainstorming and the use of Sketches in PTC Creo

3: October 7, 2015 - Focus on PTC Mathcad and Fundraising

4: October 14, 2015 - Focus on PTC Creo and Drive-Trains

5: October 21, 2015 - Designing a Buildable Robot with PTC Creo

6: October 28, 2015 - 3D Printing with PTC Creo

7: November 4, 2015 - Using PTC Windchill to Manage Your CAD

8: November 11, 2015 - Using PTC Resources to Help Your FIRST Community

9: November 18, 2015 - What is the Internet of Things!

Register at the following link – Robotalk

Robotalk sessions will be recorded and posted to the PTC FIRST Community Site.

Re: [FRC Blog] Robotalk by PTC

Thus far I've been unsuccessful in getting a response from PTC about education for their IoT initiatives and how they relate to FRC (and outside of FRC). I had a brief email exchange with someone there after they revamped their website and lately they have gone silent.

Does anyone have a contact at PTC that can help me talk to the right people?
