Other on team #85, B.O.B. (Built On Brains), from Zeeland High School.

I just wanted to thank the teams that put on the Indiana Robotics Invitational. I know how much work it took and from our point of view it went great. Thanks to 308 for picking us for the finals, I'm gland you didn't rely on our play in the seeding rounds!

Thanks to all FIRST teams for a great year. It is an honor to be part of the FIRST community.

Have a good Summer.

Mr. Steve Yasick

Team 85

What do you mean? You guys did great in the seeding rounds! Actually, I know you had some issues early on, but we talked to you and knew you had them fixed. When you played the seeding match with us near the end of the seeding rounds, everything was worked out and you played great. It was great working with you.

Steve:

What happened to the west michigan invitational? I'm assuming it was discontinued because of the regional this year, but I know we're going to miss it if it's really gone. Let me know what's going on, everyone here wants to know. Thanks.

Anthony:

As somebody who's worked as scoring since '98 on the WMRC(west michigan robotics competition), I can tell you this...the majority of the people who worked on planning that event worked this year on getting the regional up and running in Grand Rapids, so as of when I last talked to them(March,) they didn't really have it in them to organize another event so soon(I know, it doesn't seem close to the regional, but you'd be surprised how early these things start getting planned)...So, as far as I know, there will not be a WMRC this year...if there's enough support locally in the future to do it AND the regional, it may come back, but I make no guarantees...

Nate

Kettering, Sweet Repeat, Team 240?

I don't know what's up with "Kettering Kickoff", and Sweet Repeat is on, and Team 240 was wondering about starting a regional, so hopefully we can try to get more action despite the loss of one of everyone's favorite invitationals.

I hope they can bring the WMRC back next year, and bringing back Rumble would be EVEN BETTER...
