12 year members?
Just wondering.....
Does anyone have any going to be 12th year members on their team (abviously adults)??? On my team we have 1, 12 year member. He's a teacher that has been involved with the team since the beginning... After every year i complete with FIRST i still wonder how he has lasted so long. ![]() |

I have been with my team since the very begaining. We started in early October or late September I believe. We tried to do so much to try to prepare for our rookie year, and we did pretty good.

I have been on TEAM 88 TJ2 since the start of our rookie year in 1996. Back then we were team #23 then team #63 and now, all know us as TEAM 88. What a great time we at TJ2 have had and plan on many more years to come. I think CD was #16 and #32 back in the early days, It is good to keep the same # year after year so that way we can find other teams easy. So I guess that I have been on this TYE - DYE TEAM for 7 short years. We are all ready getting started for year 8 what a HOOT this has been, hope all is well with all FIRST teams and lets get more ROOKIES into this great program.
Oh yeah OH YEAH !!!! MOE |

422 involvement
Ever since the fall festival and watching little robosoccer cars scurrying about at fall festival (fall of 2000), I've been on the team. I know the 2000 'bot pretty well, and have been on the team to build the robot for the '01 and '02 season.
Next year as a junior I'll be team leader and hopefully as a senior I may go for project manager (or team leader again, it's been fun for the few short months I've been it for )And, if I get into Olin like I'm planning, maybe I can help whatever team will most definitely start up there! |

I got Cyber Blue off the ground in 1998 and have been involved since. Getting ready to start my fifth year. We started with 9 students no money two teachers two engineers and built our robot in a planetarium. We sold candy and Blimpe cards to pay for the entry fee that got refunded to us when FIRST cancelled the Houston regional. If we would not have gotten that refund we probably wouldn't be here today. Five great years!
