Re: paper: Unofficial FRC Team Canvas 2016, v1
As a mentor it took me about 5 min. Are you thinking students or mentors will be filling this out? Some students may know all the answers and some will not. For instance I wouldn't expect our PR students to know all the tools but they better know the sponsor info. Most students will not know total hours worked by the team i would guess.
P.S. i am willing to pass them out at the Duluth MN regional's i plan on volunteering there again and at the North Star in Minneapolis where we are competing. May also be able to send a student over to do the 10,000 lakes thanks for doing this should be interesting info. |

Re: paper: Unofficial FRC Team Canvas 2016, v1
I was figuring it would be a leadership member or mentor of the team, someone who would list him/herself among the "all in" category. These individuals should know how much the team meets, and have a good clue as to the tools and techniques available. I will probably restructure the sponsor questions a bit, perhaps something like how many sponsors do you have who contribute at certain predefined values (to include labor and supplies). My purpose is to try to figure out how much support each team gets in a way that a regular member who is not the team treasurer is likely to be able to answer.
Thanks for the offer to do the poll - I figure to start recruiting in earnest for this after Christmas, when the CD traffic picks up in preparation for kickoff. |
