Re: Team Update 1 : SCALE - Touching the ground?
Your bumpers would leave the bumper zone so it would not be legal.

Re: Team Update 1 : SCALE - Touching the ground?
I'm not talking about raising the bumpers. I'm talking more like silts that raise your bot in the last 20 secsonds. Something will be in contact with the ground but your bumpers will be above the line.

Re: Team Update 1 : SCALE - Touching the ground?
Even if the wheels are raised too? I'm talking about pushing the WHOLE robot up. I'm unsure how this is different than using the bar to raise yourself up except that you are touching the ground with some set of arms.

Re: Team Update 1 : SCALE - Touching the ground?
If some arms are touching the ground and the rest of your bot is not, it's still a violation because your bumpers are out of the bumper zone. The effective "bottom" of your robot is bottom of your lifting arms.

Re: Team Update 1 : SCALE - Touching the ground?
I'm confused. We're both talking about the last 20 seconds and scaling right? How are you supposed to scale and keep your bumpers in the bumper zone?

The last 20 sec has no height limit, but the bumper rules are still in place. |
