Best way to simulate compression of the ball in CAD?

Hello,

I'm doing some conceptual CAD of our robot and have found Inventor's contact solver pretty useful for simulating interaction between mechanisms and game-pieces. The one problem with this is it treats the boulder as a rigid body with no compression. Has anyone found any good way to model the deformation of the ball as you squeeze it? (preferably in Autodesk Inventor)
