Re: New York City Regional

Congratulations to Team 3646 Integra for their first Regional Chairman's Win! There was not a dry eye at the scoring table as they read out all that you have done for your whole country. The reaction from the whole crowd when the MC announced how many lives you saved was breathtaking. If anyone has video of them receiving the award, including the speech, please post it.

I'd like to congratulate the third seeded alliance on some hard fought final matches. 3419, 578, and 3017 made a close set of final matches, at the end of the matches, our alliance wasn't sure who won the match, and both matches were within 10 points, easily being able to go the other way. Good luck to 578, and 3419 at your next events. Congrats to 3419 on also making it to Championships with a wild card spot.

I would also like to thank our alliance members, 694, and 5016 were both amazing teams to work with. Both teams were great when it came to working on match strategies and planning what to do. We couldn't ask for more from our alliance partner, you really complimented our robot and fulfilled the roles we asked you to. Congrats to 694 on winning Engineering Inspiration as well. Good luck to both teams at your next competition.

Lastly I would like to give a shout out to the #1 seeded for some close fought semis, and really pushing our bot to the limit.
This is the third year a team I was apart of had to go against the Robotigers in eliminations. They always know how to put up a fight. Good luck to you guys at Long Island.
You guys did great. It was shame we went out the way we did but, I was still very happy with how we did. Look forward to seeing your team again in the future and maybe next time we will have a match or two together.

Re: New York City Regional

I'm beyond ecstatic for Team 5891! Elegant design and so well put together as a team overall. A most deserving RAS award!

And a note of the power of intention: I helped their java programmers setup their simple robot project. And the name we gave the project in eclipse weeks ago on a lark????

We should have almost every match recorded from the stands. A few were probably missed here or there. Going to upload them soon hopefully. Also 1796 ran the stream, hopefully they have some of it archived.

Thanks, Yea I know a few elims may have gotten missed when we were reviewing them.

It was great to work with you guys, as well as gain insight from your team about the whole china project. It helped give us ideas for trying to start more teams in our area.

We wish you the best of luck at South Florida, well definitely be rooting for you guys. Well see you in St. Louis.

Re: New York City Regional

Matches have been archived from the webcast. They do however still need to be split, labeled, and uploaded. The webcast teams goal is to have this accomplished by the end of this weekend. Due to a small issue, we can't release the raw unsplit recordings. We will be sure to update everyone here and on Twitter when this is done.

1796 would like to congratulate all winning teams and award winners.
Best of luck to those going to St Louis and those that have another event. See many of you at SBPLI!
We had a great time at the 2016 NYC regional and hope everyone did as well, and that those that couldn't make it enjoyed the upgraded webcast. Please feel free to PM me feedback and suggestions to make the webcast even better next year.

Thank you guys, I know some of our students and members who could attend are grateful for the webcast, and loved the overlay. We wish you luck at long island. Your team has done an amazing stream the last few years, keep up the great work. No rush on splitting up matches, I know how time consuming it is.

Re: New York City Regional

Here is the link for all the split matches and award ceremonies.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I85uTxcL_6g&list=PLLDODAGuIHqNRyZPxoHlvwMs JYP79ptCv

It took us a little longer then expected but all matches are there in order with a description detailing who played in the match and the scores of each alliance.

Also there is alliance selection between Quals and Elims and at the end both award ceremonies are there.
All the links have been shared with blue alliance and hopefully will be showing up in the next few days.
I hope everyone enjoys reminiscing and reviewing the matches. Let me know if you come across any problems.

Again, best of luck to everyone who still has events and those competing at champs.
