Eclipse/DriverStation Issues
Hello,
Has any other C++ team been experiencing a manifold of issues from Eclipse and DriverStation? We first had issues with deploying from Eclipse, we would never have an option to deploy and only had the option of running as a C++ Application. We fixed that through SSHing directly into the RoboRIO. If you are interested in how we did this, please PM. Now we have a more exasperating issue. We are able to deploy the code, instead we are faced with the issue of "No Robot Code". No matter what we do, we can never deploy! We appreciate any help! axton900 (and team) |

Re: Eclipse/DriverStation Issues
Did you try turning off the Windows Firewall?
Sounds like you might not be starting the code up after deploying it manually. The deploy script from Eclipse runs the code after sending it. I would work on getting the process to work in Eclipse. Make sure you have t he latest Eclipse and that you have installed the plugins successfully. You could try again with a clean install of Eclipse. If the deploy option doesn't show up, make sure you have the C++ perspective selected (upper right hand corner). If it deploys successfully look for communications and robot code indicators. If those aren't on, check the robot and robot radio indicators on the diagnostic tabs and report back what they show. Here are some miscellaneous troubleshooting tips. I'm not saying you need to do these right now, just keep them handy. - turn off windows firewall - check for good power to the roborio - try usb, and wired Ethernet before advancing to wireless - turn off all network adapters that aren't in use on the pc. For example, if using wired, turn off wireless. |

Re: Eclipse/DriverStation Issues
A quick check on the plugin version would be in order:
Help->Installation Details... Find the C++ or Java Robot plugin in the list. The version should be 0.1.0.2016... The '2016' is the important part as I've found several of my students had the '2015' version installed. |
