No radio LED on roboRIO

While testing the robot for this year, I noticed that the Radio LED on the roboRIO does not light up. I think there might be something wrong with our configuration of something.

A couple of issues:

1. The radio led does not turn on.
2. I can connect over wifi, but only after a very long period of time. Yet I can connect over usb almost immediately.
3. This is annoying because our axis camera code doesn't open up a stream until the radio turns on all the way, which is way after our code.

Anyone else having this issue? Is this just a byproduct of switching to the new radio, or a deeper problem?

The Radio LED is not in operation yet. Might be for future use.
