Re: pic: 4576 RNR CAD Angle 2
Will all that actually be carbon fiber, or is that just for the cool visual?

Do I spy a pto? Or is that an interesting gearbox?

Re: pic: 4576 RNR CAD Angle 2
How do you plan to go over the rock wall? It looks like you're using 8'' pneumatic wheels, so the frame would have about 3'' of ground clearance. Right now, your drivetrain frame would hit the rock wall before the wheels do. Am I missing some other mechanism?

I cant really judge the height of the robot because of the odd angles, but it looks like it is around 16in. to go under the low bar, the robot (at least the fount and back) has to be well below 16in because of the tilting that the robot will face driving up and down the ramp. for my team, we have set 14in to be the max height any part of the robot. Re: pic: 4576 RNR CAD Angle 2
You are correct with the 3" ground clearance. We also do have a shorter front. Allowing it to go over the rock wall with ease. Because the front wheel grabs prior to the channel hitting the rock wall face.

Re: pic: 4576 RNR CAD Angle 2
The gear box has two pulleys and a belt integrated into it allowing two output shafts. We did this to have a 6 wheel drive. We have two belts in the tubing. One goes from output a to the back, and output a drives center wheel. Then output b goes forward to run front wheel, and output b is terminated in the channel. This allows two 15mm belts to run on the same plane. In doing so we were able to keep all our belts inside the tubing. And it has a dog gear to allowing two speeds just like vexpro gearboxes are ran.

Yes, all this is currently carbon fiber.
