Team 811 will be in Manchester for sure. Also Nationals. A second regional would be great but money is a problem. The most likely second regional is UTC and back to back week ends would be insane. I probably would not be the only teacher upset by that. Plus the teachers who work with the team would be hard pressed to be away like that as well.
If I had my choice of a second I would pick NYC or LI because I am from there origionally. Born in LI grew up in NYC (Brooklyn actually).
I'm amazed that teams can go so far from home for a regional as some teams do. We don't have a budget for that.

unfortunately due to money issues my team might not be attending Florida. sponsors are coming up short and so are team members. this year i hate to say this but the team i belonged to didn't have bad luck. but the 2003 team; everything bad is hitting them. money issues, sponsorship difficulty, fundraising difficulty, team member recruitment difficulty. we are experiencing alot of problems and i don't see my team doing very well. we might make it to the NYC regionals but i am having doubts.
