FMS OffSeason Setup for Week 0 Events

I've been testing with FMS OffSeason and have been having a difficult time figuring out a flexible way to have a controlled FMS system.

I already have a router and DS programmer setup, and they're working properly. I'm trying to stick as close as possible to normal FRC. Teams program their DS's with FMS-lite mode in the radio configurator. Teams take their driver station computer, hook up ethernet, FMS admin (me) confirms all teams are connected, then starts the round.

The problem I'm having is that Chezy Arena is outdated for this year. The new DNS system makes the process very inconvenient, and I couldn't get it to work properly.

FMS Offseason connects properly to driver stations and displays 'FMS connected', however I don't see any flexible way to enter in team numbers and start a match.

I have tried using 'Match Test', and have gotten the robots working properly, however Match Test will only go through the round with Autonomous Disabled and Teleop Disabled. It will not actually give you control of the robot.

Is there any way to make FMS Offseason work without setting up a non-flexible schedule system?

Thank you.

What logs are you looking at that show the robot only going through autonomous disabled and teleop disabled? Are you looking at the field monitor logs, the driver's station logs, or robot logs?

Match test is definitely the way to go, and we haven't run into an issue similar to this yet.

I'm looking at the driver station for both robots, along with trying to use joysticks for each. Both driver stations are FMS connected and have communication. The FMS system is all green for the two team numbers on them, and does get battery voltages and everything.

When we click prestart, Link the bots, update the audience display, and then select 'Match Start', The audience display shows autonomous starting. The driver stations will show' Autonomous Disabled' for the duration of that. The audience display will then show the Teleop period. The Driver stations will show 'Teleop Disabled' for the duration.

Moving joysticks doesn't do anything either, which is expected in disabled modes.

Re: FMS OffSeason Setup for Week 0 Events

This might sound like a silly question, but do you have the team bypassed (the "byp" checkbox)?

To start a match with fewer than 6 robots, you have to bypass all robots that aren't present, so it is easy to accidentally bypass an extra robot.

I thought the exact same thing this morning, and confirmed that was the problem.

Thank you for your time, I might make a little guide on this because its a very inconvenient system if you haven't put in the leg work.
