Oh how I wish I lived in Manchester.

That's a lot of surplus window motors and I can't have any. Arrrggggg.

So, then, is it safe to assume that the window motors will not be included in the kit for a 2nd year in a row?

Yes, those are my pictures.... they had A LOT more than that even... At the time we couldnt think of why we need bearings, but now we realize we should have taken some.

As far as the window motors.... they WERE in the kit last year; we used one on our robot as well as many other teams did.

But they probably wont have them this year it seems, along with Fischer Price motors.

Heh, you're right. This past year, though, we didn't receive the lift tape and all the associated goodies that came along with that. I forgot that we did get one motor, though.

Still, I guess we won't get them again next year.

Actually if you remember, First was only getting rid of there surplus stuff,

there will probably be window motors in the kit again, they just may be a different model or type.

Same with the Fisher Price motors, they probably found out new styles for the kit, thats why they got rid of them, and i garentee it although they were a good motor.

Ok, being a pack rat... we DID pick up a couple of buckets of bearings.

Now I'd like to hear some of your ideas for what to do with them??

Well, then - if they plan on including them in the kit, and they are donated to FIRST in the first place (awkward, yes), why give them away? Why not save them for forthcoming seasons?

Maybe they need the storage space for something else?

Clean the mud from the pickup truck you guys had and glue the bearings all over it, it could become an art truck!!!
Or go batman style and drop them from the truck as you go down the highway eluding people!! LOL J/K!
BTW, did you end up taking the bucket too?? After you got yelled at not to take it???
