WCP Spartan Sensor Board

We're attempting to use the WCP Spartan Sensor Board this year and we've run into a low voltage issue on the DIO ports when mounted to the cRIO, reading about 1.8 Vdc. Has anyone else seen this problem? Also, has anyone had success using the board and gyro?

Re: WCP Spartan Sensor Board

You got luck that I was checking Chief today. I designed the board. Please mail me at austin.wcp on boardsailor.com so I can get you more prompt help. I check that a lot more often.

Are all 3 LEDs on? Where are you getting power for the board from? Please email me a picture.

I personally tested all the boards that shipped and made sure that the gyros worked.

Re: WCP Spartan Sensor Board

Also, did you mean roboRIO instead of cRIO?

Re: WCP Spartan Sensor Board

We saw this exact problem. Traced it to some incorrectly wired sensors. Double check that none of your sensors are sending 5V to ground. We pulled sensor wires one by one till we found the problem.

Re: WCP Spartan Sensor Board

Thanks Justin!

Chad and I exchanged emails and there was no power being applied to the board. He's back up and running!
