Team 5720 Rhino Tracks Problems

We discovered that one of the pulley wheels on our rhino tracks isn't lined up and it's causing our robot to jump. Like the pulley wheel instantly ungrooves and the teeth and grooves don't align which causes our robot to jump. It is only in our right tread and the left tread is perfect. Are any other teams having this issue?

Re: Team 5720 Rhino Tracks Problems

It sounds like you have the tension on the belt too loose. In the instructions we give an example of what we feel the appropriate tension should be. Also, I would double check the spacers and pulley alignment down the side of the track. If one of the pulleys is being forced into misalignment it could cause it to try to ride up the V on the belt and jump the pulley.
