Scouting Application for Cross-Referencing

I wanted to know if there are any tools out there that allow you to cross reference event data. More specifically I want to have a list of teams and see a breakdown of the other events they are attending.

The reason behind this is that I wanted to look at the other teams that will be at the Greater Pittsburgh Regional and/or Smoky Mountains Regional and learn what other events I should keep a close eye on during the weeks ahead.

I realize I could check each teams Blue Alliance page from the event lists but I like to think someone else already had this idea.

Thanks!

The Blue Alliance might help you with that.

TBA is pretty much the way we did it... its fairly accurate and when you hit a team page its shows you their other events...History will show you their past years awards etc.

I just print off the whole list (from TBA) in Excel and then go team by team and have a column for their other events and dates to see if they have other events prior, I then double check the list once a week for late adds (like us in central valley)

We are doing week 1 and 2 so for us its easy...everyone's new no games played. For later in season though its great to get to know the bots , helped us a ton last year I was able to get to know about half of the field prior to each event.

Here is the webcast link at Nasa they are pretty good about finding webcasts....

Re: Scouting Application for Cross-Referencing

TBA has an API (http://www.thebluealliance.com/apidocs) that could be hepful for that.
I wrote one that takes a list of teams, and returns there average quals score, and average elimination matchs score, as well as five youtube videos from their last event. I don't know if it still works, but it's at
https://github.com/Cabey4/4613-Auto-Scout
I don't know how hard it would be to change it to do what you want, but your welcome to try.

Re: Scouting Application for Cross-Referencing

I'm working on something right now, adding it to the application I wrote for scouting.

You'll be able to select an event and it will show you a table with all teams and all the other events they are attending. I'll update with a link when it's live, which will hopefully be later tonight.
