Both Lighter and Smaller...

Just so everyone knows...

This year's robot must be shorter than last year's. The height limit has changed from 42" (last year) to 36" (this year).

I hadn't realized the height change until today!

Good luck to the teams trying to go above 6'.

This year's robot must also be lighter than last year's, because you now have to weigh with a rotating light.

hahahahahhaahahahha

And where did you get this Handy Dandy information from???

Did it just spit out of your mouth?????

(Im in favor of making the robot size smaller, but not lighter)

Most teams have a hard enough time trying to carry the stupid robots, (rookies mostly) cause some dont make carts.........

The smaller the size the easier for us it would be to tranport..

Brad,

Notice that this note was posted in the OCCRA Competiton Forum. So, these dimensions have nothing to do with FIRST robot dimensions.
