Assembly Instructions for Air Release Valve on Compressor

In the instructions for the compressor/relief valve picture it shows an upright adapter that connects the T to the Relief valve.

https://firstfrc.blob.core.windows.n...ticsManual.pdf (Page 10)

We don't have a part that looks like that, however in the instructions it says to use and elbow: Adapter 1/4” to 1/8” F/M (229-4-2).

I looked up this part and on AndyMark FIRST choice it has a picture of the upright adapter used in the example image, However in the parts list it calls this an elbow?

http://firstchoicebyandymark.com/fc16-104

I'm assuming that the example pictures are from previous years, but the elbow connector seems to be slightly to large to fit in the bottom of the relief valve. Do I try to jam in this elbow valve or should I try to buy the upright adapter (If this elusive part even exists)?
