Team 1540 Presents: Zuko

Team 1540, the Flaming Chickens, is proud to present our 2016 FIRST Stronghold robot, Zuko! Check out the reveal video, and here's what Zuko can do:

Drive:

• 6 CIMs, single speed
• Top speed of 15 feet per second

Defenses:

• Capable of a full solo breach, regardless of field configuration

Shooter:

• High goal capable
• Flywheel design (heavy for stable shooting)
• Dual cameras attached to base for accuracy

Intake:

• Ground pickup works from field and human player station
• Low goal capable

Wheels:

• 8-inch pneumatic traction wheels, moves over all defenses with ease

Software:

• Sophisticated power management to prevent brownouts

We'll be competing Week 2 at the Wilsonville district, and Week 5 at the CAIS district. Good luck to everyone!

Looks like a lot of effort went into improving build quality, which will be very important this year.
