Us and Thrust will be down in North Carolina this weekend at the Guilford District.

I've been stoked since the announcement of the even back in the fall. An excuse to visit my old school, I'll take it.

This is an event I never though was possible, since with Purdue next door it always seemed like they would hold the area events. To go from a team stuck in a file storage room (2006) to a team hosting a district event 10 years later, is something I didn't see coming.

Getting to scorekeep at my alma mater, that is cool. See you all there

Nice to be seeing Michigan teams again. 3 this year but only 68 is a repeat from last year and the event they went to was Kokomo. Wish I could attend this event as a spectator, but sadly I'm busy that weekend.

P.S. The first two teams I went to were 135 and 1024. I love how 135 has 4 wheels and 1024 has 10. Neither being the stereotypical 6 or 8. I'm curious to see how 4 wheels do especially. I haven't see any other robots with 4 wheels.

4103 will be there, we're really excited and feel like we have a chance to go far. It's our first competition of the year though, so we will see.

The COMETS are looking forward to competing in the Indiana District. Our last appearance to Indiana was for the 2012 IRI event. It will be tons of fun to meet people and get to know teams outside of our normal region of play!

I'm surprised that so many MI teams made it into this event. IIRC the Tippecanoe even was the first IN event to fill up.

If you looked at the right time you would have seen us registered for the event a week later in Indianapolis. ( i believe thats where it was) However a spot opened up at tippecanoe and we were able to switch events. it works alot better for us competing week 2 with you guys and then returning to michigan for weeks 4 and 5. versus competing in weeks 3,4,5 right back to back. Michigan competes Friday-Saturday with load in thirsday night so we wouldnt even get 4 days between competing in Indianapolis and our michigan district in Lansing.
