Handouts at Regionals

Hi everyone!

I am a member of rookie team 5822. We are busy preparing for our first regional competition next week. We were wondering if teams typically prepare materials to hand out. If so, what kind of materials and in what amount would you suggest we bring?

Thanks!
Greta

Re: Handouts at Regionals

The FRC tradition is a team button that you keep a collection of in your pit so visitors can grab one as they stop by.

Re: Handouts at Regionals

I've seen lots of different handouts provided by teams at past regionals I've attended. Common things I see include safety sheets (reminders on how to be safe and common safety mistakes), robot information of that specific teams bot, a pit map, laminated field drawing and more.

Those last 2 on that list I find particularly helpful. In prior years we didn't always have a field map to draw on so that helps immensely with pre match strategy and the pit maps are really helpful when trying to find your partners for your next match or trying to do some pit scouting.
