It is nice to see the Average Joes (3620) mentioned here for the first time. For the moment we have the highest OPR in Michigan: 47.8 -- someone please correct me if I missed a higher one. But of course, it is statistically more likely that you will believe statistics when you like what they say about you.

We matched 610 in terms of teleop low goal cycles when we had comms. we just didn't have a hanger though. I'm not complaining about not being in the top 40.

Sure, let's play a game of who has banners this year: I got 1 and I'm only 20% done with my season (may change depending on qualifying for DCMP).


Point is, whining about not being on some top 25 list is kinda like whining about the match schedule - ultimately a pointless waste of your time. Focus on building cool robots and if the people that vote on these things don't like it, who cares.

I 90% agree with Andrew here. Look getting on the Top 25 is cool because it means that people notice your team and your performance. Even before I joined the crew it has always been my focus to try and market 2826 the best we can. Not so we get on the top 25, but so other teams know who we are and talk about us. Why? Because when we are not an alliance captain, I want my team positioned in the mind of the alliance captain stakeholder that handles who selects what team so I am picked.

I realize that actually just half joking, our season is done we had a blast. I have to say though there are a ton of young teams I saw in the past two weeks that give many of the big teams fits..things are looking up for the next gen of FRC . heck a rookie took SD #1 and 5817 has the hardest shot I've ever seen. 5136 was really good and fast lowbar HG shooter too.

I wish all the rookies/young teams well that are going to St. Louis go get them.

Hi Dunngeon,

I actually think that Boltman is speaking highly of 5817's shot. I haven't personally seen it but from what I've read from Boltman it sounds like they have a fast moving and accurate shot!

Can't believe they're just a rookie team pulling off everything that they have. Anyone know if they have any experienced mentors?

Hi Everyone,

I'm just checking in to say that I really appreciate this show that you guys run! If it weren't for this show I never would have learned of amazing teams like 1648 or 33!

Hey Boltman,

I know it can be hard to not be on the top of the list in a public poll but sometimes the truth hurts! I ran for city council once and didnt even make it onto the ballot...
That being said, maybe if you have a better showing or build a better bot (I hope so! Cheering for you guys) then you'll be able to crack the top list!

Just keep everything tightened down and never stop working away at it and you'll make a robot that people will want to talk about some day!
