(Side Note: Due to the Western Canada Regional being during the middle of the week, it was not communicated to the expert panelists that this regional was eligible. We specifically apologize to 4334 since they made the top 25 in the community poll).

I'm glad 5434 got on the list for the expert rankings as 38th- they deserve recognition for their robot. They were second on our picklist at the 10,000 lakes regional and were our pit neighbors. With their automated intake mechanism and stellar vision processing, I was surprised to see them as a second year team, and we were almost certain (if all things went smoothly and as we anticipated) that we would meet 5434 in the finals at 10k. Unfortunately, they got knocked out of the semi-finals. They are definitely one of the rising star teams here in MN. I'm bummed they won't be at worlds because their bot certainly had the capability to perform well there, but I'm glad they made state.
