Re: Week 7 FRC Top 25(10) Results and Show Link

Great show. Good Analysis. Glad I could catch up with the archive.

A couple of thoughts:

- A lot of pressure on 195, who haven't made it to Einstein since Aim High (2006) with the Atom Bomb.

- Geographical, CD bias in the polls?
I would have liked to have heard more about West Coast teams. They can't be that bad.
Only 1/8 District teams made it to Einstein last year. 1/4 were West Coast teams. 1/3 if you include TX. 1/6 were from Canada.
No District teams were in the Einstein finals.

- I'm old, so when I see a broadcast/webcast where the hosts spend more time staring at their computer screens rather than looking at the audience.......

- Always great to hear from Mr. Zondag. He's so much more chill when he is not behind the glass.

- Can't wait to see the Friday analysis when we find out who will be on what fields with which teams.

I don't remember if it's been done in the past, but does FUN do a combined 7 week Top 25 ranking? For teams that have competed >1 regional, maybe you could average the votes for the team?

I believe this was still a regular weekly poll, which means only teams that competed in Week 7 were eligible to be ranked. Since the only week 7 events were District Championships, no west coast and no regional-system teams show up.

For REAL east coast bias, tune in to GameSense :-P

For the most part, that's the T25 they're doing this Friday.

I don't know if anyone has pointed this out yet but on all three list there are 5 Indiana teams. So proud to be from such a competitive district! And good luck to all my Indiana brothers and sisters as they compete at worlds!!
