Re: Recapping the 2016 Season in 6 words or less

Hard work and organization generate success.

Seriously, compared to 2015, 2016 was phenomenal. Last year, our robot barely even moved, but this season, we made it to quarterfinals at both regionals we attended, and ended up getting a wildcard to go to Worlds. None of this would have been possible without our new head mentor, though

Wildcard or wait list for Champs? Wildcards don't go past the finals...

Vomiting gears doesnt stop us!

1 failed intake... 2 failed intake...

WELL THERE GOES OUR WHEEL!!!!

WELL THERE GOES OUR BUMPER!!!!

WELL THERE GOES THE CHAIN!!!!

WELL THERE GOES ANOTHER GEAR!!!!

You turned on the robot... right?

You changed the battery... right?

This are our sneezon in 6 words or less. Sounds bad but it wasn't, couldnt have been a better time, never a dull moment for us (especially for pit team )! Always broken but never out of commision, the robot drove like a tank and could lose any part and keep going. Never missed a match. Can't thank my team and everyone we competed against for the best year of my life.

Re: Recapping the 2016 Season in 6 words or less

ANOTHER BELT BROKE?!?!

Bonus: add "IN THE FINALS?!?!"

Background: We went through probably 15 belts on our drivetrain this season due to shearing and snapping, and in Finals Match 1 at Woodhaven, we snapped a belt and didn't notice until we were carrying the bot off the field, and a field reset volunteer came up to us with a belt in her hand and said, "Is this yours?". We proceeded to freak out and tear the drivetrain apart to put in a new belt.We finished putting the last hex shaft collar on to finish the switch as they called us out to the match, which we proceeded to win, and then win the third match.

Awesome game, wedge-o-matic, scouting team rules!
