Thomas Perkins of KPCB has Passed Away
I just saw in the NY Times obit section that Thomas Perkins of Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers has passed away. Often, we say the names of people in relation to an award without giving much thought to who they were or why the award was named for the person. I suggest we take a moment out of our busy days to learn who Mr. Perkins was and why his name is one on the Entrepreneurship award.
