New PNW Offseason - Peak Performance!

Apex Robotics 5803 is proud to announce Peak Performance, the newest offseason event in the Pacific Northwest!

Peak Performance will be a one day FRC event on Saturday, September 10th, 2016 and will feature more FIRST Stronghold action with the real FRC field, a great way to introduce new team members, parents and sponsors to FIRST.

Teams will have a 10'x10' pit with power, a full set of qualification matches, alliance selections, playoffs and awards. Concessions will be available for purchase. Additional details will be sent to teams who register or indicate interest on the signup form

Registration for the event will be $250. A refund of $50 will be available for teams who contribute 2 or more volunteers to assist at the event (subject to available volunteer positions remaining). Teams can register for Peak Performance or request to be included on additional email information distribution here. Questions can be directed to peakperformance@apexfrc.com.

We do realize this is the same day as FTC kickoff and that may cause issues for some teams. We have not committed to a maximum event capacity yet, but it looks like we will be able to host 24 teams.

There will be some minor rules changes (no Portcullis, likely a modified alliance selection and/or tournament structure) to be announced later.

Looks like an awesome event. I really wish we could come up and play with you guys again, but the distance is a bit of an issue . I definitely want to watch it, will there be a livestream?

Haha I'd be surprised if anyone from California signs up (heck even Oregon would be a trek for just one day). Yes, we are planning to webcast the event with the regular PNW broadcasting equipment.

I wanted to thank everyone from Apex and all the volunteers for hosting and putting on this event. The whole thing was very professional and smooth running, you could hardly tell it was put on by a team (and a 1-year team at that)! We are very grateful that Apex put this together to bring PNW teams back together before the next season starts.

I was privileged to attend Peak Performance on Saturday and it was a great show!! 5803 proved that a rookie team can pull off something this tough.
