These THREE teams were not on the invitation list. Not that I don't thing they shouldn't be at IRI (all of them are very good!), but is there a reason they were added?

These two are not the only ones not on the original listing; there is at least one more additional team on this final list.

IRI does maintain a waitlist, I believe. Thus, a team not on the original invite list may show up, if a team on the original invite list declines their invitation due to circumstances beyond their control. (Standard IRI application request is that you plan to attend if you're invited, but that status isn't always known right away.)

Is there any estimated time that volunteer info and assignments will be going out?

No 5172 on this list breaks my heart. I will miss them at IRI.

IIRC, it was originally "2826 Tyler Olds". So it now appears Wave can put their robot on the field, instead of their mentor. Should work out better during the match, for all concerned.

OTOH, putting Tyler on the field before matches start has worked out very well in the past. Maybe IRI can have it both ways.

The Average Joes are very happy to be invited, and we look forward to competing with this exceptionally strong roster of teams.
