[FTC]: Shipping Charges

I am getting ready to register and order FTC parts. Is it just me or shipping charges rather inflated?
Shipping to Canada gives 2 options:

UPS Ground $295.68 (USD)
UPS Worldwide Expedited $267.68 (USD)
