Kudos to Vex for making this change.

This sets a logical precedent for other large-scale robotics competition models to follow in the future. Splitting up age groups just makes sense.

I can understand the splitting of age groups, but a logistical challenge if you do VEX IQ, VEX and FRC. with respect to chaperones, teachers, and hotel arrangments. This will make it even tighter to get from one event in one city to another.
