Open Mesh OM5P-AN Trouble

Hey,

The bridge our team has been using for this season has been working fine, but all of the sudden, it has stopped working. Now when the bridge powers on, it doesn't create a network that I can connect to with the team laptop. I'm not sure what the issue is, but the indicators on the bridge show that there is something wrong with the Wifi.

Power LED- BLUE,
Ethernet- BLUE,
but the Wifi LED is red.

Thanks, Akash (3182)

Re: Open Mesh OM5P-AN Trouble

Have you tried reloading firmware with the 2016 Imaging tool?

Re: Open Mesh OM5P-AN Trouble

Okay, I have reloaded and now the red light on the bridge is gone. However, now, there is no light under the wifi icon and still no network from the bridge. Any solutions? Thanks,

Re: Open Mesh OM5P-AN Trouble

did you configure the radio for offseason use after reflashing the firmware?

Re: Open Mesh OM5P-AN Trouble

I pressed the configure icon in the Imaging Tool first. Then I loaded the firmware. Should I configure it again?

Re: Open Mesh OM5P-AN Trouble

yes, load the firmware first, after it does that, then configure it with your team number. Flashing the firmware basically wipes everything from the radio.

Awesome! It works! Thanks for all the help. Getting the bridge working sure beats doing demos with an Ethernet cable. Thanks, Akash
