DNS resolution mixup.
Did anyone experience a problem? I kept getting forwarded to digdug.vosn.net (209.151.86.4) rather than staying at www.chiefdelphi.com (209.151.86.74). Just wondering...

earlier, there was a high load on teh server. They shut off the 4 highest traffic sites on the server (which included us) to bring the load down.
Your browser may have cached that 'suspended.page' site, because they have resumed our service, its been on for at least 20 min. Turns out that we have outgrown our current hosting package, and may be experiencing downtime like that periodically. We're working on getting this fixed... the best thing to do -- if the site goes down, don't hit refresh every 3 seconds. Find something else to do for an hour, and then come back. Hitting refresh only causes problems (including 489 'db error' emails to me, as i experienced today) ![]() |
