The Theme is STEAM

While it always seems to take a few weeks to get off the starting block, 3946 has recently adopted the FRC theme. For 2015, we had our Oscar Mascot, in 2016 we seriously toyed with wooden wheels on our robot in week 1, and eventually made our pit into a castle (our best pit yet, by a wide margin) and had a crown decoration station at Bayou, which was patently obvious in all the Saturday pics of the Bayou audience. We started talking this up during tryouts this evening, and already we're looking at some serious mods to our drive team uniform, giving up a (pre-season) build day to make bronze aviator goggles, and are seriously considering a large-scale bronze depiction of our team logo.
How is your team embracing the theme of STEAM?
