O man... sorry to hear that

I would keep my mouth shut if some guy from my town walked around naked on a TV show.

Well according to the Billy Joel song, Billy the Kid is from Oyster Bay, which is just a few towns over to the left.
Quote:
From a town known as Oysterbay, Long Island
Rode a boy with a six-pack in his hand
And his daring life of crime made him a legend in his time
East and west of the Rio Grande

Dave Matthews (AHEM* of the Dave Matthews Band) is from here, I know a few people who went to school with him. Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederacy is buried here as well as US Presidents James Monroe and John Tyler and over 18,000 Confederate soldiers, including JEB Stuart and George Pickett. We've got alot of history down here in good ole' Virginee, lol

Well, right now I can think of Carl Sagan who's from this town, Ithaca, NY... you know, that famous astronomer guy who did stuff like write the book Contact (incredible movie too).

And umm... have to be a ton of insanely smart people who've come out of Cornell University here.

Oh yeah, and the deputy defense secretary right now is from Ithaca... the librarians are looking for a pic of him right now to send to Time magazine from old yearbooks.

So remember: THE AMAZING RACE, Wednesday nights on CBS, 9:00 PM EST. Their names are Teri and Ian.

Yes!! Yes!! They finished second. Not bad, not bad.
