CAD Model of Tornades's Square Tubing Frame of the Drivetrain Design for various configuration. Material made out of T5 Aluminium. Various predrilled holes tapped 1/4-20. Various access inspection windows on each sides.

Are those slots in the top and bottom of the tubing at the bearing blocks for wheels? I feel like having such large holes will seriously weaken the frame. You might want to decrease the size of the clearance holes for the shafts as well. You do not need that much space to adjust the chain tensioner if you calculate the correct chain length.

Ok, so I'll be that guy. What alloy of aluminum? T5 only refers to the temper of the metal.
(I'll try and get on my laptop and actually look at the CAD later. I'm currently on my phone, so the material is all I can nitpick.) |

We also though the same thing but after. A stress. Test we found a 5+ safety factor each tub have a maximum of 750 kg of static force
