Timing for FRCSIM 2017?

A couple of FRCSIM questions:

The Virtual KOP page says the 2017 field models for Gazebo are "coming soon". Does anyone know an approximate date?
Gazebo v8 is supposed to have a Windows version. Are there plans to release windows-savvy components/instructions during this build season?
