Go to Post Since our team is in possession of the school, we have no restrictions on how late we can be there. So our teams are often practicing into the wee hours of the morning. Also, the school board uses "the breeze" for storage of high jump mats, so it's a great place to nap. :) - Karthik [more]

The program is in EEPROM. Yes it can be erased in very odd cases. Innovation First recommends that you download the code to both the default and the user code space in case one of the EEPROMs gets erased just before a match. It has never happened to us, but it would be a real shock to lose an important match because of a fluke.

All you have to do to get the board back running again is dowload the default code again.

GreenDice is an unknown quantity at this point
How do you download to default program space? I thought it is not erasable.

It WAS write protected our first year with the Innovation First controller, but they removed the write protection after that one year. All you have to do is move the jumper to the default position.
