Manchester Kick-Off

Does anybody know if there is a limit to the amount of people we can bring to the Manchester Kick-Off?

I know that there is a limit of the founders party, but nothing stating a limit on the kick-off itself.

The only thing they state is that you have to have a signed form before you enter the Verizon center.

I think...

that the limit of 2 that TIMS let you register was what they also use as the limit for the Manchester kickoff...and then the other sites say how many above that number can go...

From the Dec. 16 E-mail Blast:
Quote:
Greetings Manchester Kickoff Attendees!

We have some important attendance count and workshop registration information to share with you. Firstly, the Team Information Management System (TIMS) has been modified to allow for up to four (4) individuals from your team to attend: the Founders Party, the Resource Workshops and the Kickoff.

Please follow the below steps. **Rookies Teams - Please read carefully!**

If you intend to have four (4) members of your team attend any of the above, you must go to the registration system and "up" your count by 5:00 pm tomorrow, December 17, 2002! This is especially important as there will be tickets sent to each team for admittance to the Founder's Party - you will be sent the number of tickets equal to your registration count. Please note these will be sent to Main Contact home addresses as many schools will be on vacation. We anticipate they will go out toward the end of this week. If you do not receive your tickets please let us know asap! After logging in to the Team Information Management System, click on Edit Team Information, and go to Step 4. Under "Kickoff Count" selection you can edit the number of team members coming.

To register for the Rookie Workshop (open to first and second year teams only) from 8:30 am 5:00 pm on Friday, January 3, 2002:

After logging in to the TIMS, click on Edit Team Information, go to Step 4, and indicate the number of team members to attend. A maximum of two (2) per team may attend this workshop. (You may split your count and send other team members to the Resource Workshops if you wish.) Please note this is an all day workshop - an individual team member cannot attend both this workshop and the Resources Workshops! Space is limited - so make your selections asap.

Founder's Reception
A reception will be held on Friday, January 3, 2003 from 6–8PM, 8-10PM, at the home of Dean Kamen, Founder of FIRST. Four adult mentors will be allowed. Light hors d'oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages will be served.
On the FIRST website it specifically states of there is a maximum of people at the workshop and the party, but nothing on the "keynote" of the kick-off.

In the past, they used to limit it, because there were no remote kick-offs. But with a big facility, and mainly only the new england teams attending, they seem to not enforce the limit.
