Letting Boxes Warm Up!

For the teams that are in the North, you may want to let your boxes warm up over night before hitting them around too hard. I know we did that and we have been really putting the boxes through h*ll and they are holding up great. Might be in the plastic and the coldness where the breaking is coming in.

We bought 15 and I was told we have 7 left without cracks...
Probably less now that we stacked them 12 high yesterday (got a pic, post later)

Hah ha ha.

Yeah, kickoff was awesome up here in New Hampshire. Had to dig my car out...like, I mean, it was COMPLETELY buried in snow...

Thanks for the advice. Ours have been holding up pretty well but I'll let my team know that.

Down here in sunny south florida...our boxes appear to be holding up great. Maybe we should heat them up tomorrow though because of tomorrow's expected cold weather. It is supposed to be all the way down in the low 50's.

29 boxs - 3Hr play (69F) = 22 boxs
Question: what % of a box counts as 1 point in the score zone?
(AS in how many pieces + lid ) OR (on lid and 75% body)

I wish I live in flordia year round, instead of 2 weeks a year at the families place in West Palm Beach. Today, 30 minutes outside of detroit, the high temp for the day was a brisk 25 degrees!

Well I live about a half an hour north of West Palm Beach, FL and it was cold today. It was all the way down in the 50's and I think that tonight it will be in the 40's. I hate cold weather so much. I am a native floridian!!!

I believe the plane of the box has to be in the scoring zone, so if you look from above and the line is obstucted AT ALL by the box, it counts.
