2017 Bay Area AI (Machine Learning) Workshop | Dec 16th

If you're interested in getting into AI, come join current and alumni members of teams 254, 604, and 1868 for our intro to machine learning workshop this Saturday, Dec 16th from 8am-4pm, hosted generously by Microsoft in SF (680 Folsom St., San Francisco, CA 94107)! Learn about machine learning tools and concepts that you can apply to FRC and beyond. You should have basic programming knowledge, but no AI-specific experience is required.

Bring your own laptop; we'll help you get up and running with machine learning using TensorFlow, Azure, and DIGITS, and then you'll get to practice using them in a series of guided challenges we'll provide.
Please note this is a single session that runs for the full day - attendees should plan on staying the whole time - and that it will not be recorded due to the focus on interactivity.

For lunch, you should bring $5 for unlimited pizza and drinks. If you have any dietary restrictions or would prefer not to have pizza, you’re free to bring your own lunch instead.

Please RSVP via this form by Dec 15th (Friday) at 12pm at the latest, though preferably as soon as you know because space is limited!

Lastly, since this is an event entirely run by an awesome group of volunteers, we are asking for a recommended donation of $3 (or more) at the door to go towards supplies for this event and similar ones in the future.

We hope you'll be able to join us! Feel free to reply to this email if you have any questions about the specifics of the event.
We’ll send out a follow-up email to all registered attendees later this week with additional information and reminders.

If the meeting is not being recorded, is it possible for any of the teaching materials to be posted later?

Just like slides or something for people who are out of range.

I'd love to come but being 3000 miles away, if I hope to see a recording or the materials.
