Does anyone know if we can buy more motors or are we limited to the ones in the box of parts. If we can buy more, which of the 2 price stipulations would it fall under? The electrical (limit 100) or the other (limit 400).

No extra Motors
No. Look at the flowchart. It addresses 2 cases: (1) Extra kit motors, (2) any additional motors.
BOTH are NOT allowed. The wording in the restricted parts list is unclear, but the flowchart specifically mentions no motors. -Paul |

To reinforce what Paul said this is from the Team Update #1
KIT OF PARTS CLARIFICATION You can only use the motors provided in the 2003 Kit of Parts in the quantities provided on your robot. You can purchase additional motors to have on hand asspares. |
