Look at section 9.5
In section 9.5 DA1- A referee may disable a robot that is damaging the playing field.........
I think you may see alot of damage to them. Stronger motors, wire ramps that are going to have 100's of robots going over them throught the competitions that weigh 130lbs., and boxes that have been breaking in practice. I hope the referee's are not to strict with this rule. I do understand though the feilds cost alot of money. |

I think it would apply to severe damage during autonomous mode or intentional damage duing human operated mode. Someone said FIRST plans to go through 5 or so bins per match.

I'm not worried. Powerful motors are irrelevent, what matters is what you use to contact the playing field.
Also, I HOPE that referees will be very strict, if someone messes up the field, everyone suffers. I hope a team the damages the field gets harshly penalized for irrespondsible. |
