I really hope so. I'd love to be able to tape that and show those in my family who cant come to competition. It would be less than renting that giant screen they've had the past few years now wouldn't it...

Most likely the NASA regionals will be broadcasted online. That's what happened last year... Lots of thanks to the NASA FIRST-a-holics.

Last year, the VCU, Buckeye, Florida, NYC, Silicon Valley, Lone Star, and Southern California regionals were broadcasted online by NASA. The Championship event as well.

So, I am hopping the year the same regionals will be broadcasted, especially the Buckeye regional.

NASA Broadcasts

If the regional is broadcast by NASA is/was actually one of the criteria our team uses/ed to decide what regional events we would attend. It allows for the students who don't get to travel to watch the competition as well as the parents and sponsors. They get a chance to see why they haven't seen their children for the last six or so weeks. The sponsors get to see the excitement of the competition and their logo on TV.

It is also a great scouting opportunity!
