drill motor short
ah, another broken motor scenario
most of the other teams seem to have experienced a problem with the plastic brush holder breaking; the same thing happened to us (the little black clip holding it in snapped off). now, we are having a problem with the motor shorting. we cannot figure out what is causing it. can anyone please offer suggestions? thanks so much, in advance |

Are you shure it's shorting or is it just arcing? Maybe the brushes are not fully pushed against the commutator.

it seems to be working now... we used some electrical tape to hold the brush in place, and reinforced the other motor
