tga files for animation
How do we convert avi files to tga for the animation award competition?
we have it rendered in avi already and realized that it needs to be in tga... anyone know why they need it in tga? can anyone help us with any of this?

Easy...don't convert it...
Read over the update again...The TGA(targa) format was listed as only a suggestion to improve render quality and speed(by allowing easier distribution for net rendering, etc.)
