I still think Diaryland is the best and comes with the most features. It's pretty cheap to host there, too. They have a lot of great options, too - like a 'private' folder if you don't want your entry to be posted, and some fun features with the rest of the DLand users. I've had my Diaryland since the beginning of time (i.e. I was one of the first 500 members, now they're on some odd trillion) and so of course, here's my shameless promotion along with the others -

Diaryland is customizable, even if you aren't paid. If you do pay, it's not only ridiculously cheap, but you get a lot of cool stuff, like a comment system for each entry, stats every hour, etc. Mine is fully customized (one of my good friends is a web designer at UIC) and I have a gold membership. I love it.

I can't believe that I'm using one of these.

When they first came out - I thought they where dorkish. But now - they are a very-very good way to just vent about the way life treats you.

My Blog

I currently use Blog to write my stuff. It's free, easy, and I liked.

Just a word of warning - Read at your own risk...

it also consists of really poor grammar.

I've got one, but I don't post ultra-often, and I only do it from home, so I actually go into the code and post like that. No need for software, which would actually be slower. And I won't shut up about nerdy pursuits. That's the idea, to be mainly interest and computer-oriented rather than social or diary-oriented. Oh, and it's way to advanced for Internet Explorer. Opera can read it, and it works flawlessly in Mozilla.

I had Xanga, but for some strange reason it doesn't seem to want to work on my computer anymore... internet explorer won't even access the site .... so i think i'll just brows around for a new/better one.
