Team 253's robot jumps...
We are team 253, we are completely student run and we did not have the assistance from any engineers.
Our arm can rotate 180 degrees from the ground, pick up and stack boxes in front and behind us. Our "thumper rabbit feet" can lift the robot, off its wheels, and a person off the ground (these are engineered for the best traction on the HDPE). We use pneumatic tires. our chassis is mainly made of 1/8 aluminium. our base, without arm, weighs in at 80lbs. All electronics can be easily accesed via our lexan flip-up hood. so sexy... ![]() |
